I'm having a business line installed so I can work from home more easily.
As our telephone line comes in underground, and because the 2nd pair isn't connected back to the junction box, digging is required to make a join.


I could make several excuses but do confess to being disappointed with a fastest measured pitch of 55 mph. I'm certain I could have done better when I was younger. Ed managed 46 mph!
We enjoyed our stay at the Quality Inn, Tusayan. A hotel as good as this does give you fair warning about whether it's safe to drink the water ...

I helped out at the Scout Fayre on Saturday morning. There's a lot of preparation by the committe, and there were a good number of volunteers. I hope the many 20p coins we collected adds up to a good total.
I attended the funeral service of a friend from my bowls club who'd died suddenly on the eve of the Finals weekend.
John was always a good person to meet as he was always cheerful. Someone who could put you in a good mood. I was both shocked and saddened when I heard the news.

I didn't expect to be watching the my first math of the season in Dublin. It's a good ground and the weather was lovely. In fact, it was more like a June day than the beginning of May.

It was great to see Wayne and Duncan at the culmination of the Angel season having just come back from Nottingham after winning the EIBA National Pairs.
We all knew they were top bowlers but now they know thay have the game that can be matched against the best in the land.
