Out early this year ... it's only the 3rd weekend in April.

I'd heard that it was wet at Swanmead so I went down to have a look for myself. It is!
And to think we're supposed to be playing cricket before the month is out.

Waking up to snow this moring was a surprise.
It was a lovely day on Saturday when we cut the lawn for the first time this year. In fact, we were shaking our heads at the weather that caused the Sunderland v Fulham match to be abandoned.

We chose the coldest day of the Christmas to go to Tunbridge Wells. There was no extra snow whilst we were there but the temperature never rose above zero. I was a dim-wit and forgot the hat that Father Christmas left in my stocking.
Well, we're into November and we still haven't put the central heating on.
Yet the predictions are for a cold winter.
Update
For us in the south it was the warmest winter on record!
