Shackles - interested?

I was very cross when a stone flew up from the road and caused a star burst on the driver's side for the screen.

As luck would have it, there was the offer of "free" repair on offer in the HomeBase car park.

Not only did it work, it was also quite interesting.

In the past two months we've had these embedded in our car tyres. [Not the £1 coin ... that's there for scale!]

The one on the left cost £17.50 to repair.
